Apr 23, 2023SFS Group acquires Pro Fastening Systems
Nov 05, 2024The SFS Group has acquired Pro Fastening Systems, a specialist distributor of fasteners and sealants for the commercial and industrial construction industries.
The acquisition will enable the SFS Group to further expand its market presence in the Midwestern United States, an attractive growth region in North America. Pro Fastening Systems has four locations in Arlington (Illinois), Chicago (Illinois), Milwaukee (Wisconsin), and Indianapolis (Indiana). It generated sales of approximately $US30 million in 2023.
After the acquisition, Pro Fastening Systems will be incorporated into the Triangle Fastener Corporation (TFC) in the Fastening Systems segment.
Through TFC, the SFS Group already serves the North American construction industry at 27 locations. The business models and customer segments of PFS and TFC have a great deal of common ground. This will enable TFC to access the strengths and experience of the existing team and, through the acquisition, enhance its market presence in the Midwestern United States.
Prior to this, the SFS Group acquired a family-run enterprise EPRO D.O.O., effective 1 October 2024.
